The students incorporated genuine Jerusalem stone into their design. Just as the Jewish people place their prayers into the cracks of the Kotel, and come to Jerusalem to seek safety and solace from oppression, these students can now keep their special items and thoughts safe under the Jerusalem stone used in these boxes.
